Wood species used for my custom made pens

I’ve added  a number of my favorite wood species that I use to make my turned pens.  Each has its own unique characteristics including density, grain pattern, and oil content.  I thought it may may be helpful or interestiung for my customers to see what the raw product looks like before it is turned, sanded, polished, and finished and becomes the final work of art you see in the images on this site.  If you see a wood sample that catches your eye, contact us and we can custom make a pen with that wood and to your specifications.
