Handcrafted Segmented Rollerball Pen in Box Elder Wood

Description

This beautiful segmented pen is made with portions of natural box elder wood and complemented with smaller segments of double-dyed black and yell box elder separated by a band of aluminum. This is a Continental style rollerball pen in Chrome which has a simple yet elegant look and nice weight in the hand. Note that the cap cannot be posted on the end of the pen. The ink derives from a 0.5 mm Schneider Topball 850 refill from Germany. It demonstrates fine, clean black lines as is glides along effortlessly. The length of the pen is approximately 5.50 inches.

The wood was finished with a durable 16 layer cyanoacrylate (CA) finish that gives it a glass-like appearance yet ensures its scratch resistance and that the pen will be enjoyed for generations.
