Handmade Buckeye Burl Ballpoint Princeton Pen in Gold

Description

The Princeton style pen is modern, sleek and stylish. The wood used here is a double-dyed red and gold buckeye burl. The mix of bold colored swirls in the wood grain reminds me of a Van Goh painting!

The pen features a classic style roller clip, utilizes a smooth operating single twist transmission, and is complemented by the Parker-style ball-point pen refill. Plating is Titanium Gold which provides a Rockwell hardness of approximately 85. The overall length of the pen is 5.25 inches.

This pen went through 16 sanding applications and was finished with cyanoacrylate (CA) that gives it a deep, mirror-like finish that holds up to scratches and will last for years.
