Handmade Red Mallee Burl Wood Fountain Pen in Chrome

An exhibition grade piece of red mallee burl was used for the production of this gorgeous fountain pen. The subtle circular grain pattern looks beautiful against the red tint of this wood. The pen has a six faceted nib holder and is accented in chrome.

The German made, medium iridium nib ensures a smooth writing experience (finer or thicker nibs can be ordered separately — please contact me). The pen comes with a black ink cartridge, and refills for these universal cartridges can be found at any office supply store.

Friction polish and wax were used to finish and protect the wood, which some customers prefer as it enhances the feeling of natural when in the hand.

The cap can be screwed or “posted” to the bottom portion when writing. The pen measures 5 inches in length when closed or 6 inches when posted. and has a nice feel and balance when in the hand.
